Creating a Blog
1. Go to www.blogger.com and follow the instructions to Create Your Blog Now.
2. Start Blogging by typing in your Title and Text.
3. You can add an internet link into your text by clicking on the world icon.
4. Add a picture saved on your desktop by clicking on the “Add an Image” icon.
Browse for the picture, choose a layout, accept the terms of service, and upload
the image.
5. Publish Post when finished.
6. You can explore Settings and Layout on your own.
7. There’s also a Tour if you want to learn more about blogging and its history.
8. Sign Out.
Making a Comment on a Blog
1. Go to the blog address: __________________.blogspot.com
2. Click on Comments.
3. Type in your comment.
4. Verify the letters in the box.
5. Type in your username and password.
6. Publish Your Comment.

Creating a Personal Profile
1. Sign in at www.blogger.com or make a comment on a blog and click on your
name.
2. Edit Profile.
3. Fill in the blanks you think are appropriate.
4. You may choose to include a photo or audio file.
5. Save.
Getting Your Class Ready to Blog
Schedule time with assistants to get yahoo or gmail accounts set up for students who
don’t have an email account. Make reconstructable usernames and passwords.
Passwords have to be at least 8 characters. Students who already have emails can use
their same password or change it and create a google account.
