Curbside Streetlights Now LED at Los Angeles International

Airport

Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business was part of the recently completed first phase redevelopment plan for LAX, playing a pivotal role in helping to revamp the exterior curbside street lighting of the Tom Bradley Central Terminal Area using its LED technology. Galleon LED Luminaires Help Georgia Auto Dealer Cut Energy Costs, Enhance

Customer Experience

Pioneer Ford, located in Bremen, Georgia, has upgraded its lighting with Eaton’s Cooper Lighting Galleon LED area luminaires. The conversion resulted in a 61 percent energy usage reduction, while providing brighter and uniform illumination, and reduced the high number of lighting maintenance issues the auto dealership was experiencing. Using the existing pole locations, the conversion replaced 62, 1000-watt metal halide products with 421-watt

McGraw-Edison Galleon fixtures to meet high lumen output needs for the new and used vehicle inventory display areas.

LED Streetlights Expected to Exceed 116 Million by 2023.

The street light market is undergoing a rapid transition from conventional technologies, such as high pressure sodium (HPS), to LED luminaires. A recent report from Navigant

Research analyzes the global market for roadway and highway lighting, including global forecasts for unit sales and revenue. Although HPS lights remain the biggest sellers today, some companies are already planning to discontinue their non-LED product lines. According to the report, the installed base of LEDs in street lighting worldwide is expected to grow from 13.2 million in 2014 to more than 116 million in 2023. Set the Scene with the Greengate Room Controller

The Greengate Room Controller system from Eaton’s Cooper Controls business provides scene-based control. Scenes can be programmed and selected from a handheld remote. Conference rooms, classrooms and lecture halls are just a few of the room types that benefit from being able to customize lighting scenarios to match the unique needs of the spaces. The system reduces the design time and complexity of meeting energy codes for both lighting and controls.
