Eaton to Showcase Expanded Expertise, Solutions for Improved Energy
Efficiency, Reliability and Sustainability at World Energy Engineering Congress
PITTSBURGH … Power management company Eaton today announced it will showcase a
range of products and services designed to increase energy efficiency, reliability and safety
at the World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC), from September 25-27 at the
Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Visitors to Eaton booths #435 and #213
will have the opportunity to learn more about the company’s expanded services and
capabilities resulting from the acquisition of Cooper Industries. Eaton will also deliver a
presentation on energy security at the event.
At booth #435, attendees can meet with experts and explore products from Eaton’s Energy
Solutions group and Crouse-Hinds business, while the latest technology and expertise from
Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business will be available at booth #213. With expanded power
management solutions, engineering expertise and turnkey project management capabilities
following the acquisition of Cooper, Eaton is better positioned to help public and private
sector customers meet sustainability initiatives, establish new levels of energy efficiency and
lower energy costs.

Supplementing Eaton’s presence at WEEC, William C. Anderson, strategic development
executive at Eaton, and former assistant secretary and senior energy executive with the U.S.
Air Force, will deliver a presentation at an Association of Energy Engineers’ (AEE) National
Capitol Chapter luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 11:30 a.m. The presentation, titled “Cyber
and Energy Security,” will discuss solutions available to maintain grid stability and, if
necessary, island and support operation of critical infrastructure in the event of a cyber attack
or significant natural event. The presentation and luncheon are free for all WEEC attendees.
