Waukesha, WI, March 25, 2010 – Cooper Power Systems, a division of Cooper Industries plc (NYSE: CBE), today announced details for its 13th annual CYME users conference. The event, expected to bring together more than 100 CYMDIST and CYMTCC software users from distribution utilities all over the world to connect and exchange ideas and experiences, will be held June 15-17, in Montreal, Canada. This year’s CYME Users Conference will feature presentations on recent product developments and upcoming enhancements of the CYMDIST power engineering software for distribution analysis, and the CYMTCC software for protective device coordination. Presentations and training sessions throughout the three-day seminar will cover subjects of interest to the distribution engineer, giving participants a hands-on opportunity to try the most recent features of CYMDIST and CYMTCC. Also on the agenda are an interactive user forum and one-on-one dialogues, which will encourage participants to openly share their CYME-related experiences and challenges with other users and the company engineers. “The CYME User Conference is an opportunity for our customers to interact directly with the engineers that develop and support our power engineering software tools and to network with their engineering peers from other utilities,” said Mike Stoessl, Division President, Cooper Power Systems. -More- Cooper Power Systems – Page 2 Participants will also be offered additional training opportunities on topics highly relevant to distribution planning engineers.
