Using Summary Words Choose a figure from your field of interest. Write five sentences about that person’s work or ideas. Example: 1. Feminist writer Deborah Tannen challenges the idea that men and women approach problems in the same way. 2. She contends that while women seek to discuss their problems, men seek to find solutions. 3. She believes that because of their differing approaches to problems, men and women often misinterpret each other’s words.
