Defining a Term: In‐class work. Think about your area of interest. What do you plan to write your thesis on? What area of your field is of most interest to you? Think ahead to your final paper. If you have some idea what you will be working on, choose at term that you might have to define or discuss. Then brainstorm a plan for defining the term and extending the definition.
