Final Paper Assignment (Due last day of class, 7-8 pages, double-spaced)
Choose a topic related to “Asia” and “performance” and write an essay incorporating the
themes of the class. You must make reference to at least three (3) of the class readings.
Please be aware that I will be looking for you to elaborate upon, or challenge, the
analytical approaches of some of the authors. You may do this by adding new material to
the scholars’ theories, or by showing how different examples operate differently
compared to those discussed in the texts.
