Regional Priority Projects • Gateway Connector & 118th Ave. Express – Pinellas County: Connecting Bayside Bridge, St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE), the Greater Gateway Area, US 19 and I-275 – Single-lane flyover from southbound Bayside Bridge to eastbound Roosevelt. Four express lanes from PIE, south to CR 296/118th Ave. – Estimated Cost: $331 million – TBARTA Ask: Move forward with Design Build contract for first two segments. What’s our focus? Regional Priority Projects • Howard Frankland Bridge – Connecting Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties – Replacement of northbound span of the Howard Frankland Bridge with potential for express lanes and transit – PD&E for bridge replacement complete – Estimated Cost: $390 million, $25 million to strengthen bridge substructure for technology – TBARTA Ask: Retain funding to replace the bridge and strengthening of the substructure for potential transit in the FDOT Work Program - Accelerate as a Design Build What’s our focus? Regional Priority Projects • TIA People Mover/Westshore Intermodal Center – Extension of TIA Automated People Mover (APM) to planned TIA Rental Car Facility (ConRAC), and to future Westshore Intermodal Center – TIA Master Plan: $318 million construction of ConRAC, $417.5 million to extend the APM to ConRAC, $208 million for road, terminal and airfield improvements and other improvements necessary – TBARTA Ask: $272 million for the construction of APM extension, terminal improvements, road improvements and other projects necessary to accommodate the people mover alignment What’s our focus?
