In addition to gaining generic competencies the trainee will devlop skills in comprehensive geriatric assessment, multidisciplinary team working and complex discharge planning. They will attend departmental and Foundation Program specific teaching programmes. Additional educational opportunities can be gained by presenting at journal club and participating in departmental audit/quality improvement.
