Secondary Metabolites

Our lab aims to develop concise chemical
syntheses of complex molecules that are
relevant to human health. Of particular interest
to our group are developing new methods for
the synthesis of terpene-related scaffolds,
improving upon nature’s synthesis of several
classes of terpene-derived alkaloids and
secondary metabolites that show activity
towards neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).
