In completing a QEP experience within their field of study, students will be able to
1. prepare a written plan for that experience
2. document progress on that experience regularly and communicate that progress to
others in a suitable form
3. present the results of that experience as both
one or more documents that include correctly designed and executed graphics
an oral presentation that includes effectively designed and executed graphics
4. communicate all elements of that experience
using Standard English conventions (including effective sentence and paragraph structure, appropriate voice and verb tense, and suitable word choice)
using a report format and style appropriate to the academic/professional field, including text citations and bibliographic references to document others’ intellectual contributions
5. handle all aspects of that experience with a professional demeanor, to include
interacting with team members responsibly, meeting deadlines, and preparing and
presenting project materials in their final form

1.
delimit and describe the objectives to be accomplished [analysis/synthesis]
2.
when appropriate, conduct a search for published work on theory, research, and practices related to the objectives [analysis/synthesis]
3.
prepare a plan to achieve the objectives, to include a timetable, description of methods, and description of required resources [synthesis/evaluation]
4.
when appropriate, adjust the plan to overcome barriers and/or capitalize on
opportunities that arise [synthesis/evaluation]
5.
collect and analyze pertinent information and data called for in the plan [application/ analysis]
6.
discuss the results and conclusions as they pertain to the objectives and present recommendations for future endeavors [synthesis/evaluation]
