For the technical headquarters based in Schwerzenbach-Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for
a seasoned
Your responsibility | As a senior R&D professional you lead internal and external research
and product development projects. In this key position you will directly report to the Head of
Technology. You design, specify and engineer construction products and conduct small to large
scale tests in international laboratories. During all project phases you draft precise documentation for technical approvals, for conferences and journal publications.
You are in permanent contact with universities, consultants, approval bodies, and act proactively
in international technical commissions, so as to set new standards internally as well as for the
worldwide construction industry. English is the working language for all technical documentation
and reports.
Your personality | To successfully meet this challenge, you have a MSc or a PhD in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering or material science. You will bring at
least three years of international experience in engineering design or R&D. A proven track record
in finite element analysis, and being familiar with Eurocode, fib (International Federation for
Structural Concrete) or PTI would be highly valued. Proficiency in English and talent to formulate
and write technical documentations, articles and presentations are mandatory.
You are a communicative team player and used to work in an international environment, with
readiness to travel occasionally (10%-20%).
