Resources for International Students Needing Visas for Off-Campus Study
Many International Students participate in off-campus study while at Cornell. The Office of
International & Off-Campus Studies and the Office of Intercultural Life are happy to provide
assistance to international students as they prepare for these opportunities. However, it is
important to note that just as U.S. students are responsible for obtaining their own visas for offcampus study, so are international students. Because each country has its own entry and exit
requirements, the Office of International & Off-Campus Study refers international students to
outside agencies to obtain visas for off-campus study.
