Alum Rory Clark is honored with Distinguished Service Award.
Construction Management Alum Rory Clark is now Director of Construction, Grounds and Automotive at
Saint Joseph Mercy Health System, Ann Arbor MI. In honor of their late son, Ryan, Rory and his family
founded the Ryan's Run Foundation. They have established two expendable scholarships and one
endowed scholarship at Eastern Michigan University.
Ryan had hopes of one day being a mechanical superintendent or project manager. So, it was fitting for
the Clarks to honor him by providing support for the construction community.
“When my wife [Karen Clark] and I established the Ryan's Run Foundation, we wanted to make sure that
the Foundation would support construction related programs,” said Rory. “As a graduate of Eastern
Michigan University’s construction management program, I believed that the program was well suited for
this funding. We want to ensure that deserving students will get the support they needed in order to
complete their education in the construction industry.”
We are so proud to have Rory as a graduate of our Construction Management Master’s program, and to
recognize his distinguished service.
