Gregory W. Stevens Scholarship
This scholarship is valued at approximately $2,000 and may be awarded to multiple applicants.
Deadline for submission is February 12, 2016.
Applicants must meet the follow criteria to be eligible:
v Declared major in one of the following departments: Communication, Media, and Theatre
Arts, History and Philosophy, or Political Science
v Rationale explaining why the applicant has selected their particular major and what they
anticipate the pursuit of this program may contribute to the betterment of society (Maximum of
3 pages)
v Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities at EMU and/or community
v Open to all class levels, however all ROTC students are excluded (stipulation of donor)
v Minimum GPA of 3.0
v Recommendation letter from an EMU faculty member who will provide comment to further
application and highlight achievements
