This scholarship is valued at approximately $400 and may be awarded to multiple applicants.

Applicants must meet the follow criteria to be eligible:

Declared major in the College of Arts and Sciences
Is a member of the Honors College
Presented at Symposium
Rationale explaining why the applicant has selected their particular major and what they anticipate
the pursuit of this program may contribute to the betterment of society (Maximum of 3 pages)
v Minimum GPA of 3.5
v Recommendation letter from an EMU faculty member who will provide comment to further
application and highlight achievements
