Pardee Center for Longer Range Global Policy and the Future Human Condition; Professor, Pardee RAND Graduate School Dr. Robert Lempert is a member of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize–winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Lempert is a senior scientist who is an internationally known scholar in the field of decisionmaking under conditions of deep uncertainty. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a fellow of the American Physical Society, and a member of the National Academy of Science's Climate Research Committee. He is also a professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. Lempert's research focuses on improving methods for long-term policy analysis and for using data and models to support decisionmaking where accurate forecasts are impossible.
