This module is assessed only on a Pass/Fail basis; the minimum performance level required to pass is
equivalent to achieving a mark of 50%

including: a) Assessing previous
work from the literature and

assessment of risks and costs
and time needed.

Written presentation of the
student’s proposed research to a
sufficient standard (including:
preliminary literature review;
project objectives; outline of
methods; costing; and, where
necessary, a safety assessment).
Must be sufficient for proper
understanding of the methods to
be used in the research project
and for the proper presentation
of the written proposal.
