UNDER CONSTRUCTION NorthPark Pond restoration project Dear Resident: December 2014 Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services NorthPark Pond Restoration Project, with contractor Ferebee Corporation completing pond improvements, including: • Installing a new pond outlet control structure. • Installing a new 54-inch diameter drainage pipe. • Grading the remainder of the pond’s embankment. • Maintaining the pond in a dewatered state as grading work and installation of the new pond outlet control structure continues. Construction is expected to be complete by March 2015, after which vegetation will be established in the disturbed areas.
