Meeting highlights:
• Project Manager Greg Cole introduced the project
team and gave a presentation on the project history,
boundaries and how the Hinsdale project was
selected.
• This project is in the planning phase. The phases of
the project were explained (Planning, Design, Real
Estate, Bid, Construction).
• The engineering consultant for this project is
Armstrong Glen, PC (AG).

AG reviewed the results of their stormwater modeling
using maps.
A question/answer session was held.
Three break-out groups were created to answer
specific questions.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held
a public meeting for the Hinsdale/Tinkerbell Storm
Drainage Improvement Project on March 28 at the Church
of Charlotte. The project goals are to update existing
infrastructure, reduce flooding in structures and streets,
increase channel stability and reduce erosion.
