Hinsdale/Tinkerbell s t o r m d r a i n a g e i m p r o v e m e n t p r o j e c t your storm water fees at work December 16, 2013 Dear Resident: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a second public meeting for the Hinsdale/Tinkerbell Storm Drainage Improvement Project on December 5 at the Church at Charlotte. The project goals are to update existing infrastructure, reduce flooding in structures and streets, increase channel stability and reduce erosion. Meeting highlights: • Project Manager Greg Cole introduced the project team and gave a presentation on the project history, process and how the project will proceed. • This project is in the planning phase. The phases of the project were explained (Planning, Design, Real Estate, Bid and Construction). • • • The engineering consultant for this project is Armstrong Glen, PC (AG). AG explained the proposed stormwater improvements. A question/answer session was held.
