Dear Resident:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a
second public meeting for the Hinsdale/Tinkerbell
Storm Drainage Improvement Project on December
5 at the Church at Charlotte. The project goals are
to update existing infrastructure, reduce flooding in
structures and streets, increase channel stability and
reduce erosion.
Meeting highlights:
• Project Manager Greg Cole introduced the project
team and gave a presentation on the project
history, process and how the project will proceed.
• This project is in the planning phase. The phases of
the project were explained (Planning, Design, Real
Estate, Bid and Construction).

The engineering consultant for this project is
Armstrong Glen, PC (AG).
AG explained the proposed stormwater
improvements.
A question/answer session was held.
