Hill Street s t o r m d r a i n a g e i m p r o v e m e n t p r o j e c t your storm water fees at work Dear Resident, April 3, 2013 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a public meeting on March 12 at Roof with a View to present the existing conditions analysis for the Hill Street Storm Drainage Improvement Project. Meeting highlights: • Project Manager Danee McGee introduced the project team, discussed goals and components of the program and summarized what storm water items qualify for service. • McGee explained public involvement includes citizen input from 311 requests and citizen questionnaires, feedback on existing drainage issues not previously reported, areas of roadway or structural flooding within the project limits, and support for the project’s future phases. • Chris Fleck with Dewberry indicated that a detailed survey of the existing topographic and storm water system information has been completed. Fleck reviewed the magnitude of the study and the results of the analysis. He indicated these areas were studied in detail for existing conditions and will be investigated further to determine potential improvements.
