Edgewater/Rosecrest s t o r m d r a i n a g e i m p r o v e m e n t p r o j e c t your storm water fees at work Dear Resident, March 26, 2013 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a public meeting on February 26 at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church to present the results of the storm water analysis for the Edgewater/Rosecrest Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The project goals are to update the existing infrastructure, reduce the flooding in structures and streets, increase channel capacity and reduce erosion. Meeting highlights: • Project Manager Greg Cole introduced the project team and gave a presentation on the project history, boundaries and how the Edgewater project was selected. • Cole explained the phases: planning, design, real estate, bid and construction. The project is in the planning phase. • The engineering consultant for this project is US Infrastructure Of Carolina (USI). • • • USI reviewed the results of the stormwater modeling. A question and answer session was held. Three break-out groups answered specific questions.
