Edgewater/Rosecrest s t o r m d r a i n a g e i m p r o v e m e n t p r o j e c t your storm water fees at work Dear Resident, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a second public meeting for the Edgewater/Rosecrest Storm Drainage Improvement Project on July 8, 2014 at the St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church. The project goals are to update existing infrastructure, reduce flooding in structures and streets, increase channel stability and reduce erosion. Meeting highlights: • Project Manager Greg Cole introduced the project team and gave a presentation on the project history, process and how the project will proceed. • The planning phase is nearing completion and the design phase is about to start. The phases of the project were explained (Planning, Design, Real Estate, Bid and Construction). • USInfrastructure of Carolina, engineering consultant, explained the proposed stormwater improvements. • A question/answer session was held.
