The Ceres’ Corporate Program works with 70+ member companies to make sustainability a core part of business decision-­‐making. Ceres brings the perspective and power of investors to environmental and sustainability issues, specifically to the performance, practices and policies of corporations. Our program seeks to foster greater public disclosure of environmental and social impacts by corporations, advance engagement between companies and their stakeholders, and create opportunities for collaborative dialogue leading to positive change on key sustainability issues. Qualifications: • 7+ years of direct experience working on sustainability and corporate responsibility issues in the corporate, investor and/or nonprofit sectors; several years of experience managing and training staff or interns. • In-­‐depth knowledge of environmental and sustainability issues and an understanding of corporations, the socially responsible investment community, and environmental and sustainability movements. • Experience in North American context is required, while understanding the broader international context for the energy sector and sustainability. • Experience in transparency and disclosure, including the Global Reporting Initiative as an accountability and engagement tool for companies and other organizations in North America. • Strong speaking and written communication skills for external and internal audiences. • Willingness to travel as needed. • Master’s degree in business, environment, law or public policy or related field preferred.
