UNDER CONSTRUCTION robinhood/dooley STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Contractor installs a 42” pipe and junction box in Lake Forest Drive. Dear Resident: Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’ Robinhood/Dooley Storm Drainage Improvement Project. • The major culverts on Robinhood Circle have been completed. Stream restoration work has begun in this area and includes reshaping the channel for better capacity and more natural function. Various types of engineered grade controls are being installed in the stream channel to slow down water and reduce erosion, and stream bank stabilization is being installed. • Work on Lake Forest Drive at the entrance to the apartments has progressed, with the storm pipes installed across the road. Installation of the large storm drainage pipe along Lake Forest Drive from the apartments toward Rolling Hill continues. • Lake Forest Drive will continue to be closed to through traffic between Eastbourne Road and Rolling Hill Road until the pipe installation in the area is complete.
