The Capital Investment Plan includes $101.8 million in voter approved Street Improvement Bonds for November of this year. The funds would be used for several projects including the South Corridor Station Area Infrastructure, Sidewalks, Minor Roadway Improvements, Bridge Replacements and Repair, and other programs. Designated road improvement projects include Fred D. Alexander Boulevard, Cindy Lane Extension, Nevin Road, Freedom Drive, and Dixie River Road. If the November 2004 Street Improvement Bonds are approved, funds will be available to move forward with right-of-way acquisition and construction. Property owners who own parcels impacted by the Cindy Lane Extension Project would then be contacted by City Real Estate Representatives in early 2005, with construction beginning in early 2006.
