He has worked extensively in the area of climate change since 1988, starting with the IPCC First Assessment Report. He has edited 7 books on climate change, most recently as editor of the international journal Climate Impacts and Adaptation Science. afenech@upei.ca Island Products through Sub-Appellation Mapping Professor Tony Shaw is in the Department of Geography and Fellow of CCOVI (Cool Climate Enology and Viticulture Institute) at Brock University. He teaches courses principally in the areas related to meteorology, applied climatology, viticulture, and environmental sustainability. His research areas include wine terroirs, site selection methods for new vineyards, freeze protection methods, renewable energy, building climatology and climate change and impacts. Current research projects include the demarcation of sub-appellations in Ontario’s main wine regions, assessment of new areas for wine production and the potential impacts of climate change on Ontario's main wine appellations and emerging regions. - tshaw@brocku.ca Climate Change Governance, Trade Policy and Small Island States: The Case of the Caribbean Dr Keith Nurse is the Executive Director, UWI Consulting Inc., World Trade Organization Chair at the University of the West Indies and former Director of the Shridath Ramphal Centre for International Trade Law, Policy and Services, Barbados. He has worked as a consultant and advisor to development agencies, such as the OAS, South Centre, IDB/MIF, Commonwealth Secretariat, CARICOM Secretariat, UNESCO, UNECLAC, UNIDO, IDRC, ICTSD, FOCAL, the Medical Research Council UK, the ACP, OECD & ITC. He has published numerous books and articles on globalization, trade policy, diasporas, creative economy, tourism, masculinities, youth, innovation governance and climate change. Small Island States and Territories in the 22nd Century: Economic and Labour Market Implications Professor Godfrey Baldacchino PhD (Warwick, UK) teaches in the Department of Sociology at the University of Malta, Malta, where he also chairs the Board of the Centre for Labour Studies. He is also Island Studies Teaching Fellow, University of Prince Edward Island, Canada. He is the Executive Editor of Island Studies Journal and President of the International Small Islands Studies Association (ISISA). godfrey.baldacchino@um.edu.mt Global Environmental Change and Tourism Professor Daniel Scott is Canada Research Chair in Global Change and Tourism, University of Waterloo, Canada. He has worked extensively in the area of global environmental change and tourism, including collaborations with the United Nations World Tourism Organization, United Nations Environment Programme, the World Meteorological Organization, and as contributing author to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Third, Fourth, and Fifth Assessment Reports.
