HPCx Meeting
19th September 03
The HPCx Staff Workshop, held on the 19th of September, 2003, was a great success. The
goals of the workshop was for HPCx staff, from both EPCC, Edinburgh University, and CCLRC,
Daresbury Laboratory, came together to exchange experiences and opinions on the past, present
and future of the UK's largest supercomputer, namely HPCx.
This regular workshop was highly productive. It continued to strengthen the collaboration between
the two geographically distinct centres – a collaboration which is central to this national high
performance computing service.
Further workshops are planned for the future, with the next meeting in Q01, 2004, being held in
Daresbury.
