MUMPO Memorandum of Understanding – 30 minutes

The Memorandum of Understanding Subcommittee of MUMPO met on May 22 and made
recommendations to the MPO on the how to share the local match of federal funds and on a
voting structure. Options for how to proceed at the June 19 Memorandum of Understanding
Subcommittee and MPO meetings will be provided.

Transit Oriented Development Policies – 45 minutes

The Transportation & Planning (TAP) Committee discussed the application of Transit Oriented
Development (TOD) zoning at its March 28 meeting in the context of the Blue Line Extension
Station Area Plan adoption process. At the April 25 meeting, Committee members suggested a
review of TOD standards and on May 13, City Council referred back to the TAP Committee for
further discussion of TOD zoning. Staff will present how TOD zoning can be used to achieve the
policy goals of the station area plans at its June 10 meeting.
