Greg Wiley
Appointed by City Council
A native of Greensboro, Greg has been a Charlotte resident since
2003. He’s an Electrical Engineer with Optima Engineering and is a
graduate of North Carolina State University. Greg is also a licensed
Professional Engineer in six states and a LEED accredited
professional.
Charlotte is

raise a family,
and the BAC is
an opportunity
for me to give
back to this
great
community.
In addition to serving in his first term with the Business Advisory
Committee, he is also the BAC’s liaison with Mecklenburg County’s
Small Business Economic Advisory Board.
He is a member of Charlotte Succession, a group of young
professionals that facilitate personal and community development
through leadership and service.
His wife is a native Charlottean, and they are the proud parents of
two daughters and a son. Greg was appointed to the Business
Advisory Committee in 2013 by the City Council.
