Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has rapidly developed across the globe which involve many industries. Accordingly, new knowledge and innovation have been created resulting in the continual development in the economy and society. Japan's industrialized, free market economy is the second-largest in the world. Its economy is highly efficient and competitive in areas linked to international trade. ICT sector has an enormous impact on the economic growth of a country. This empirical research aimed to investigate the performance of ICT industry in Japan by using financial data from Orbis
Database. 32 ICT companies were being used in this study. Various resources were used to support our findings such as The Global Information Technology
Report publish by INSTEAD and World Economic Forum, OECD report and
Sales Maximization Model.
