Rokonuzzamana, Md. Borak Alib, Md. Zafor Sadiquec and Md. Enamul Haqued This paper purposes to examine the effects of different forms of workplace harassment on the performance of employees. It also intends to find the sources of workplace harassment and its effects on mental health and behavior pattern. The data and insights for this work were derived from extant literature on the field of workplace harassment. In addition, data were collected through semi-structured interviews and site visits. Assumptions supposed in this research are tested with programmable MATLAB software. The study revealed that, harassment is a common issue in organization of any kinds including financial, services, manufacturing etc., and is poorly attended by employers. Harassment at workplaces is associated with emotion, discriminating treatment and socio-demographic variables. It geneses serious mental depression and quashing foils on the mental health of employees; which eventually reduces job performance. The study into the workplace harassment phenomenon conclude that, poor concentration to this issue roots the ill mental health of the workers and employees. Therefore, the focus of this research is to quantify the causal inference of workplace harassment on job performance.
