The following information is a guide of Victor Valley College courses that transfer to Chapman University to fulfill
general education requirements.
Chapman accepts the IGETC or full CSU general education certification to satisfy the following areas: All Shared
Inquiry, Global Study and Citizenship, Community, and Service. See shaded areas below. Certification must be
completed prior to the student’s first semester admitted, enrolled and attending.
A course may be approved for multiple areas but can only be applied towards one.
Up to 9 credits may be shared between major courses and GE Shared Inquiry and/or Global Citizen Clusters.
A minimum grade of C- is required for all transfer coursework.
