ADDENDUM NO. 1 Charlotte Douglas International Airport RFQ PROJECT MANAGEMENT/CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION (PM/CA) SERVICES FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS Addendum # 1 dated 9/11/2015 This Addendum is hereby made a part of the contract documents and specifications of the above referenced project. All other requirements of the original plans and specification shall remain in effect in their respective order. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum by inserting its number and date on the cover page of your proposal. PLEASE NOTE: This statement applies to only this RFQ. Due to a real and/or perceived conflict of interest, companies that wish to propose on this RFQ will not be allowed to have any current Airport design/construction work and/or be eligible for any future Airport design/construction work during the contract term of this RFQ, which may be for a 3 year term. The following question was received and answered. Q. Will the Covers (front and back), Table of Contents, Cover Letter, required forms as well as any dividers/tabs be counted towards the page count? A. No, they will not be counted toward the page count Q. Does the 12 pt. font size requirement apply to tables/charts/diagrams/contact information? A. No Q. Is each submitting firm required to utilize a firm that is a Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprise or may a firm be used that is only an SBE? A. Minority participation is helpful in all categories, however, the goal will be SBE specific. Q. Are Minority Business Enterprises headquartered outside of the Charlotte Combined Statistical Area (CSA) qualified to submit as MBEs for this proposal? If so, are they required to be HUB-certified in the State of North Carolina? Alternatively, will the National Minority Supplier Development Council certification be sufficient? A. No, Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) need to be headquartered in the Charlotte Combined Statistical Area (CSA). MBE firms should be City of Charlotte registered MBEs that have been certified as a Historically Underutilized Business by the State of North Carolina. Q. Is the National Minority Supplier Development Council certification sufficient for a business to be qualified as a MBE vendor/contractor on this project? A. No. Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) should be City of Charlotte registered MBEs that have been certified as a Historically Underutilized Business by the State of North Carolina. Q. Will 1 consultant be selected or multiple consultants be selected thru this RFQ? A. Our intent is that one form will be chosen, however, we reserve the right to revise our intent at any time. Q. Is there a page limit on the resumes and would CLT like the resumes inserted into a separate tab. A. Resumes should be included in tab 3, no limit on resumes; however, they do count towards your page count. Q. Please clarify paragraph 3 on page 8 of the Request for Qualifications document. It is our understanding that we are allowed to submit up to twenty five (25) physical pages printed front and back for a total of fifty (50) pages of content. A. This is correct. Q. We see two lists of selection criteria on pages 5 and 34 of the PM/CA and 5 and 36 of the RPR. Was it CLT’s intent to have two lists of selection criteria to respond to under section 3 of the RFQ, or is one list preferred? A. The response to these 2 sections should be included in Tab 3.
