above referenced project. All other requirements of the original plans and specification shall
remain in effect in their respective order. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum by inserting its
number and date on the cover page of your proposal.
PLEASE NOTE: This statement applies to only this RFQ.
Due to a real and/or perceived conflict of interest, companies that wish to propose on this RFQ will
not be allowed to have any current Airport design/construction work and/or be eligible for any future
Airport design/construction work during the contract term of this RFQ, which may be for a 3 year
term.
The following question was received and answered.
Q. Will the Covers (front and back), Table of Contents, Cover Letter, required
forms as well as any dividers/tabs be counted towards the page count?
A. No, they will not be counted toward the page count
Q. Does the 12 pt. font size requirement apply to tables/charts/diagrams/contact
information?
A. No
Q. Is each submitting firm required to utilize a firm that is a Minority, Women, and
Small Business Enterprise or may a firm be used that is only an SBE?
A. Minority participation is helpful in all categories, however, the goal will be SBE
specific.
Q. Are Minority Business Enterprises headquartered outside of the Charlotte
Combined Statistical Area (CSA) qualified to submit as MBEs for this
proposal? If so, are they required to be HUB-certified in the State of North
Carolina? Alternatively, will the National Minority Supplier Development
Council certification be sufficient?
A. No, Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) need to be headquartered in the
Charlotte Combined Statistical Area (CSA). MBE firms should be City of
Charlotte registered MBEs that have been certified as a Historically
Underutilized Business by the State of North Carolina.
Q. Is the National Minority Supplier Development Council certification sufficient
for a business to be qualified as a MBE vendor/contractor on this project?
A. No. Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) should be City of Charlotte
registered MBEs that have been certified as a Historically Underutilized
Business by the State of North Carolina.
Q. Will 1 consultant be selected or multiple consultants be selected thru this
RFQ?
A. Our intent is that one form will be chosen, however, we reserve the right to
revise our intent at any time.
Q. Is there a page limit on the resumes and would CLT like the resumes inserted
into a separate tab.
A. Resumes should be included in tab 3, no limit on resumes; however, they do
count towards your page count.
Q. Please clarify paragraph 3 on page 8 of the Request for Qualifications
document. It is our understanding that we are allowed to submit up to twenty five
(25) physical pages printed front and back for a total of fifty (50) pages of content.
A. This is correct.
Q. We see two lists of selection criteria on pages 5 and 34 of the PM/CA and 5 and
36 of the RPR. Was it CLT’s intent to have two lists of selection criteria to
respond to under section 3 of the RFQ, or is one list preferred?
A. The response to these 2 sections should be included in Tab 3.
