MENTAL HEALTH TEACHING – September 2014 to August 2015
For 2014-15, Mental Health teaching in General Practice will take place on 2 half-days (i.e. 2 sessions) per student
group only. If you are available for 4 dates in a placement, this will still be possible, but you will be asked to take 2
different groups of students. This will be made clear in the confirmation you receive regarding the placements.
Listed below are the possible days for each placement. We aim to send students to you in groups of 4 (occasionally,
depending on student numbers we may have to ask you to take extra students).
Please mark
all the dates you are available to teach. There are some days in each placement when general
practice teaching CANNOT take place. These are marked with e.g. vertical module (VM) or End of Module day
(EOM) which are central medical school taught days.
