Luis Muñoz Luis Muñoz is currently, the head of Information Security at Cantv, located in Venezuela. Mr. Muñoz participates actively in various open source initiatives and has recently produced various tools and components to help ISPs improve its response to threats and attacks initiated by its users. He is researching about the application of Information Security techniques to the Revenue Assurance processes within telcos. He is also a very active spam-fighter and has written various articles about Perl, his hobby and passion that have been published in trade magazines. Luis is one of the guilty people charged with introducing Venezuela to the Internet, back in the days where he was fighting for his degree in Computer Science Engineering, which he obtained in 1995.
