Luis Silva is director of studio art and teaches on both the undergraduate and graduate level. He works in a number of traditional and contemporary media including painting, video, digital imaging, and installation. He is presently represented by G Fine Art in Washington, DC. Luis Silva has shown at the Corcoran Museum in Washington, DC, Artpoint Art Basel Miami in Miami, FL, the Museum of Modern Art/Gramercy Theater in New York, NY, the Neiman Center at Columbia University in New York, NY, PS 122 in New York, NY, and other numerous national and international venues. He has been prominently reviewed in national publications including the Washington Post. Luis Silva received his MFA degree from Columbia University and his AB degree from Harvard University and he has served as a visiting artist, instructor and critic at a number of prestigious nationally recognized universities
