MOLECULAR TESTING MOVE TO LIS LAB MODULE
The UCDHS Molecular Laboratory testing currently located in the Anatomic Pathology
module of LIS will be moved to the Clinical Pathology LAB module beginning July 23,
2013. Molecular testing will now be available to be released in the EMR. Once the
collect step is performed, LIS barcode labels will print at the collection site and EMR
requisition will not print. In addition, all results will file back to the originating order
placed, not as a separate result. Lastly, the ordering mnemonics will change for the
molecular tests listed below.
