Tokihiro Yamamoto, M.S., Ph.D. Clinical Interests Dr. Yamamoto’s clinical interests include image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT) for managing internal anatomy motion during treatment of thoracic and abdominal cancers. Dr. Yamamoto’s main scientific interests focus on advanced anatomic/functional/molecular imaging for improving therapeutic gain of radiotherapy. His current research projects include the development and investigation of novel pulmonary functional imaging techniques based on fourdimensional (4D) computed tomography (CT) and xenon CT (Xe-CT), and applications to lung cancer radiotherapy and beyond.
