Our Spanish programs in Quito are designed
including 4 hours of lessons daily, and the rest of
your time is free, giving you the chance to participate
in our school activities such as dancing lessons,
cooking lessons and much more: or explore the city
and continue practicing your Spanish in a real-world

VOLUNTEERING
The School offers you a unique opportunity to volunteer
in different social, cultural or ecological projects, and for
medical professionals, we also offer the opportunity to
volunteer at local hospitals and clinics, giving students the
opportunity to take the knowledge that they have gained
in the classroom and apply it in a professional context.
This practical application of knowledge will
allow students to solidify language proficiency
while developing valuable intercultural skills,
gaining experience, and benefiting the local
community!
ACCOMODATION
For our students and professionals traveling in Ecuador,
we offer two comfortable and affordable options for
(accommodation). Students can stay with an Ecuadorian
host family which, in addition to providing additional
opportunities for language practice, includes laundry
service and home-cooked meals three times each day.
Students can also stay in a comfortable hotel during their
time in Ecuador, where they will enjoy an increased level
of privacy and a free hot breakfast each morning.
For your classes, we will provide you with all of the necessary learning materials, including books,
workbooks, and printouts. Classes may be done individually or in groups, and can be arranged at
any time during our business hours.

SPANISH PROGRAMS
COMPRENHENSIVE SPANISH PROGRAM
The Comprehensive Spanish Program was created for
those who want to explore beautiful and historic city of
Quito while learning Spanish.
It is one of our most popular Spanish courses among
students, especially those who are only staying in the
city for a short time and are interested in the cultural
and touristic sites of the city of Quito.
This Spanish program prepares students to continue
traveling within the city or throughout Ecuador, or even
to travel to other Spanish speaking countries.
In two weeks the student will receive 70 hours of
Spanish learning, 4 hours of individual Spanish Classes in
the morning and 3 hours visiting touristic sites with a
professor and other students in the afternoons.
On the first day, you will take a placement test to
determine your Spanish level. Then you will work with your professor to create study plan and
define your learning objectives. The afternoon excursions are arranged by the school and ensure
that you will see the best of what Quito has to offer.
ONE TO ONE PROGRAM
With One to One Spanish Lessons at Equinox you will benefit from a learning pace that fits your
level of Spanish and your schedule. Our
teachers will develop a program that suit
your needs, strengths and weaknesses.
We will begin with assessing your level of
Spanish and create a study plan to make
your learning fast and smooth.
The One to One Spanish classes in Quito
are ideal for professionals who are
interested in covering specific themes and
learning specific vocabulary, as well as
individuals traveling to Ecuador for a short
period of time.

Your teacher will always be sure to give
significant attention to comprehension and
communication, without leaving behind grammar
and vocabulary. The program is divided into three
levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. Each
level is designed to last two weeks, or 40 hours (4
hours a day, Monday to Friday)
The individual Spanish classes at Equinox Spanish
School may be arranged any time from Monday
to Friday during our office hours. You might take

We will provide you with all necessary learning materials, including readings, workbooks and any
photocopies needed for lessons.
As this personalized Spanish One to One Program does not have fixed starting dates, students can
apply at any time and for any length of time. If you prefer, you can begin the Spanish program in
Quito immediately upon your arrival.
EXPLORE PROGRAMS
Our Explorer Spanish Program is especially
designed for you to discover the beauty and
diversity of Ecuador while studying and learning
Spanish with certified professors.
You can explore the tropical coastal region, the
exciting Amazon, the breathtaking Valley of
Vilcabamba, or the exhilarating Ecuadorian
Andes, all while improving your Spanish skills.
The Explorer Program is an intensive but fun
course that will introduce you to the most
amazing and exotic sites in Ecuador. The
program runs for either 5 or 6 days depending on where you choose to study.

You will receive 8 hours of Spanish lessons everyday, 4 hours of grammar classes at the lodge and
4 hours of conversation lessons during the excursions that you embark on with your professor.
Before the program begins, you will take a
placement test so that your professor will be
able to bring along the necessary study
materials to your chosen destination.
The lodges where students will stay are
comfortable and have been recognized for
their quality service and excellent food. The
excursions are often guided by locals who
know the area well, ensuring that you will
enjoy a stress-free and informative trip.
The Explorer Program offers you the adventure that you have always imagined while giving you

1. SPANISH EXPLORING THE JUNGLE
This Spanish program in the heart of Amazon jungle is for anyone who would like a bit of
adventure with their lessons. While hiking and traveling by boat on one of the longest rivers in the
world, you will experience one of the world´s most
biodiverse regions while improving your Spanish.
You will stay at a comfortable jungle lodge during
your adventure which is located in a tropical garden
adjacent to primary rainforest. Accompanied by
professional, native, Spanish speaking guides during
your daily activities, you will be safe during during
your travels.
This one week Spanish study and travel program
includes 20 hours of Spanish lessons in the Amazon.
You´ll stay for 5 days and 4 nights in a jungle lodge
with private transportation, accommodation and meals.
Bird lovers will be delighted by the opportunity to see and hear many of the 532 species in the
area. The scenery is inhabited by more than 750 species of butterflies and hundreds of plant
species.

2. SPANISH EXPLORING THE SACRED VALLEY
This Spanish program takes place in the exhilarating Ecuadorian Andes and was designed
for students who love to take their lessons
outdoors. It is one of our most popular
programs and will bring out the
adventurous spirit in anyone.
The Andes is the longest mountain range
in the world. This program ensures
unforgettable adventures while also giving
students space to learn Spanish in
tranquility. Inhabited by many of the
diverse indigenous tribes of Ecuador, the
Andes provides an opportunity to
experience authentic, traditional Ecuadorian culture and traditions. On this program, you
have the fredom to choose from many activities and local attractions. Visit the beautiful
town of Baños and experience the relaxing thermal baths, enjoy horseback riding, rafting,
kayaking, and partying at night clubs. Meet travelers from all over the world and, of course,
eat spectacular food. Lake Quilotoa, located at 4000 meters above sea level, is one of the
most beautiful lakes in Ecuador and a ‘must see’ on any traveler´s to-do-list.
This 6 day program includes 20 hours of Spanish and four planned activities as outlined in
the itinerary below.
3. SPANISH EXPLORING THE COAST
Learn Spanish in the province of Manabí, home to beautiful coastline, relaxing
surroundings and amazing weather.
With Equinox Spanish School’s
program by the sea, you will travel to
stunning locales such as Puerto López,
Montañita and the Machalilla
National Park. You can craft the
program that works best for you by
choosing which places you would
most like to visit.
During this Spanish course you can
choose from number of activities such
as visiting the Silver Island (Isla de la Plata), an island with a similar ecosystem to the
Galapagos; visiting the archeological village of Agua Blanca, or enjoying whale-watching at
the most beautiful beach in Ecuador, Los Frailes. This is 5 a days Spanish program which
