CULTIVATING DIALOGUE: U.S. & CUBAN AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVES This forum launches a bilateral, participatory dialogue about what Cuban and US agrarian cooperatives have to learn from each other. - To what degree have they fostered farmer livelihoods, nutritious food, sustainability, and social justice in their respective countries? - What have been the challenges and limitations? - How have Cuban and US policies supported and/or hindered cooperative production? - Finally, what could US-Cuba trade openings do to enhance agricultural cooperatives and the resilience and diversity they afford? This event is generously funded by the Christopher Reynolds Foundation as part of the Center's Cuba Initiative.
