Areas of Practice
Skyler Tanner focuses his practice on loan and collateral restructuring, bankruptcy, and forbearance
issues. His practice includes foreclosure and receivership litigation. He documents secured financing
transactions, including revolving credit, term credit and syndicated credit facilities for banks and
other lenders from the Firm’s Portland and Seattle offices. His work includes equipment and real
estate financing, agricultural loans, and aircraft security interests.

Representative Loan Documentation Matters
Representation of agent lender in a $295,180,000 revolving and term loan credit and letter of credit
facility for the consolidation and refinancing of outstanding indebtedness. Facility was secured by
significant real property, including water rights, various crops, livestock, and other personal property.
Representation of borrower in $13,000,000 SNAP bond (small nonprofit accelerated program bond)
financing for acquisition of additional real property and refinancing of outstanding obligations.
Representation of agent lender in a $81,500,000 revolving and term loan credit for the acquisition of
a wood processing equipment and technology supplier by a company formed by a financial sponsor,
with repayment options in both U.S. and Canadian dollars. Facility was secured by all assets,
including real property in the United States and Canada.
Representation of single lender in various revolving and term bridge loans ranging from $2,000,000
to $290,000. Facilities were typically secured by all assets of the borrowers, which sometimes
included real property or intellectual property.
Representative Loan Enforcement, Workout and Commercial and Consumer Litigation Matters
Representation of community bank with credit facilities of $5,375,000 in bankruptcy of ambulance
airline to protect rights in reorganization plan process and enforce plan provisions.
Representation of national lender in related bankruptcy and district court cases, including defending
temporary restraining order and obtaining in rem relief from stay order, involving property occupants
attempting to avoid foreclosure and repossession of real property.
Representation of national lender and bridge lender in forbearance agreement negotiations.
Representation of lenders and finance companies in cash collateral, relief from stay, adequate
protection, plan confirmation and related issues arising in various commercial and consumer
bankruptcy cases.
