New Badges for Without-Salary Clinical Faculty Appointments
So as to better differentiate the many types of clinical faculty appointments at the Medical
Center, a new badge process will be implemented regarding without-salary clinical faculty.
Effective immediately, faculty in the following titles will be issued badges with light green
stripes:

Volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor
Volunteer Associate Clinical Professor
Volunteer Clinical Professor
Volunteer Clinical Associate
The new light green stripes (as opposed to the darker green stripes for attending physicians) are
exclusively for the use of clinical faculty whose only appointment with the medical center is
without-salary. Paid faculty members who also have a without-salary appointment in another
Department will have only their paid appointment title reflected on their badge.
Please make note that this new policy will be implemented moving forward and that current
without-salary faculty need not have a new badge issued at this time.
