Briefly tell about your family history:
My name is Karen Donovan I was born in Fresno, CA. I was 2nd of 3 children born to
Andrew & Phyllis Camoroda. I was the 3rd to go to college in my family, and the 1st
nurse in my family. I graduated from FSC/CSUF in 1986. I obtained my BSN
Degree/certificate. I married Don; we have 3 children, Sean 17, Brian 14 and Jessica 12. I
worked at Valley Children’s Hospital as a Rehab nurse from 1987-1996
I then stayed home to care for and raise my children while my husband made a career
change. I have been working as a preschool teacher since 2003.
Short Nursing BIO: Tell us about your Nursing career since graduation and further
education you may have received:
I worked as a pediatric rehab nurse at Valley Children’s hospital from 1987-1996. I was a
charge nurse and assistant director for 1 year.
