THINKING SKILLS Thinking skills activity – card sort The following activity should be used to develop a learner’s interpreting skills. 1. Learners should work in pairs and cut out the 14 cards. 2. Learners should put the physical causes and the human causes cards at the top of their desk. 3. There should be 12 other cards with causes of climate change on them. 4. The learners should place these remaining cards under physical causes or human causes. 5. Learners should then swap a member of their group and discuss to make sure they have the same ideas in the new group.
