Dissertation: The two essays of my dissertation are both intended to develop into journal submissions. Both essays will focus on the influence of supply chain management and operations management experience on the supply chain strategies undertaken by the firm. Essay 1 will identify the impact of supply chain experience in the top management team on firm recall performance and responsiveness. Essay 2 will focus on the impact of supply chain experience in the top management team on a firm’s risk mitigation strategies. Essay 1 and essay 2 leverage archival data and econometric analysis to further develop Upper Echelons theory in supply chain management.
