Aromatherapy treatments help give a total balance to the mind, body and spirit. The oils can uplift, relax, sedate or energise. Essential oils can be administered in different forms the most effective being massage. Each essential oil has its own therapeutic properties and some have to be used with caution. • Aromatherapy Full Body Massage (1 hour 30 mins) • Aromatherapy Neck, Back and Shoulders (30 or 45 mins) • Aromatherapy Mini Facial (30 mins) • Aromatherapy Facial, Neck and Head Massage (45 mins) • Aromatherapy Foot and Leg Massage (30 mins) AROMAT Sports & Remedial Massage Using manipulation, massage and exercise to promote healing and prevention of further injury. • Full Sports & Remedial Massage (30 mins) Massage SPO Massage is one of the oldest known therapies and has been described as the “sophisticated touch”. The physical and psychological benefits of massage are numerous and well documented. Swedish Massage Swedish massage is a massage technique which is deep, invigorating and revitalising. INDIAN HEA • Full Body Massage (1 hour) • Neck, Back and Shoulders Massage (30 mins) SWEDISH Reflexology Ancient texts reveal that the Chinese, Indians and Egyptians worked on the feet to promote good health and many of these techniques have today been developed into a modern scientific method called reflexology. Reflexologists today believe that the foot is a map of the body which reflects areas in the feet corresponding to all the major organs, glands and bodily parts. Reflexology is essentially a treatment applied to the feet in order to facilitate the healing powers of the body. It promotes relaxation, reduces stress, improves circulation, detoxifies the body, revitalises energy levels and helps to boost the immune system (ie PMT and depression). Therapists do not claim to treat an illness but rather to stimulate the innate capacity of the body to rebalance itself towards optimum health. THE R A P Y REFLEXOLOGY • Full Reflexology Treatment (1 hour) MASSAGE ORTS & REMEDIAL MASSAGE Indian Head Massage This is a massage technique brought over from India to cover mid back, shoulders, neck and head. If you are feeling stressed or angry, tension tends to accumulate. This tension can later show up as a stiff neck and shoulders, eye strain and sometimes even hair loss. Indian head massage involves working with a firm and gentle rhythm to help unknot blockages and relieve this uncomfortable build up of tension. However, its effects are not just physical, it works on an emotional level too, calming the spirit, promoting relaxation and relieving stress. The massage is performed sitting in a chair and can be carried out fully clothed, no oils need to be used. However, a base oil or lotion as well as essential oils, can be used if preferred. AD MASSAGE H MASSAGE • Full Indian Head Massage (20 mins) What does a Consultation involve? Immediately before your first treatment you will require a one off consultation which will last approximately 15 minutes. This is required with every new client and involves taking a detailed medical history and profile of your health and lifestyle. This helps to ascertain which treatments are most likely to be most beneficial to you. (This is a private and confidential service).
