El Dorado Park Food Distribution
(FRESNO, Calif.)- Fresno State’s United Sorority & Fraternity Council (USFC) distributed food
to the El Dorado Park neighborhood this past Saturday. El Dorado Park Ministry is dedicated in
providing resources for the overall health of the community.
Associated Student Inc. (ASI) launched the food distribution project in 2011 when various
Fresno State religious clubs came together to practice common goods within the community.
With the facilitation of ASI, student groups are able to host and run the food distributions which
occur once a month.
Volunteers assist with packing bags of non-perishable groceries and then distribute them to
residents in need. El Dorado Park Ministry and USFC expected to feed 100 families. A total of
114 families participated in the food distribution.
