El Dorado Park Halloween Carnival
(FRESNO, Calif) The El Dorado Park Community Leaders will host the third annual Trunk or
Treat Halloween Carnival located in the El Dorado Park community at Wesley United Methodist
Church Saturday, October 31st from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Fresno State ASI partners with the
community every year to provide volunteer coverage and event support.
The event will feature a costume contest, face painting, bounce houses, pumpkin decorating,
games, food, and candy for the residents, families, and children of El Dorado Park. This event is
made possible by several contributors including Wesley United Methodist Church, Building
Neighborhood Capacity Program, District Four Councilmember Paul Caprioglio’s office, and the
Boys and Girls Club of Fresno County.
The main event of the evening is a ‘trunk or treat’ activity at 5:30 p.m. creating a fun and safe
opportunity for neighborhood children to get candy this Halloween season. Volunteers bringing
the trunks of candy will be able to enter into a contest to win a $200 donation to the charity of
their choice and bragging rights for the best decorated trunk.
The event is free and open to the public. Fresno State students who are members of on campus
clubs, organizations, and members of the Greek community will volunteer alongside the
community members and ASI leaders to run the games and activities booths.
For information on how to volunteer or register a vehicle, please contact Ashleigh Rocker
Greene at arocker@csufresno.edu or at 559.278.7703.
